Chase Sapphire Reserve® Unveils Exciting New Perks for Cardholders

As of today, Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders who opened their accounts before June 23 can now take advantage of a refreshed lineup of perks designed to enhance their travel and lifestyle experiences. While these benefits have been available to new applicants since mid-June, existing cardholders can now activate and utilize them immediately, making it a prime time to explore the new offerings.

The latest updates focus on new statement credits spanning travel, entertainment, and lifestyle categories, along with significant changes to how points are earned and redeemed. Here’s a closer look at what’s new and how cardholders can maximize their benefits.

One of the most notable additions is the up to $250 hotel credit for stays at The Edit, Chase’s curated luxury hotel collection. This credit applies to prepaid bookings of at least two nights and includes perks like daily breakfast for two, a $100 on-property credit, and potential room upgrades. Importantly, cardholders can use this year’s credit toward stays booked for 2026. Starting January 1, 2026, cardholders will enjoy two credits of up to $250 each calendar year, allowing for substantial savings on luxury accommodations.

In addition to hotel credits, Chase has introduced a biannual credit of up to $150 for ticket purchases through StubHub or Viagogo, effective through December 31, 2027. This benefit is particularly appealing for concert and sports enthusiasts, making it easier to enjoy high-demand events without breaking the bank.

For those who enjoy streaming services, Chase Sapphire Reserve® now offers complimentary subscriptions to Apple TV+ and Apple Music, valued at up to $250 annually through June 22, 2027. Cardholders can easily activate these subscriptions through Chase’s website or app, potentially saving money on their monthly entertainment expenses.

Dining enthusiasts will benefit from a new up to $150 biannual credit for eligible restaurants participating in the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program. This program features top dining establishments across major cities, allowing cardholders to elevate their dining experiences while enjoying a credit simply by using their card at eligible locations.

Fitness fans can also take advantage of a Peloton credit of up to $10 per month through December 31, 2027. While this credit won’t cover the full cost of a Peloton digital membership, it will help offset the expense, enhancing the value of the card for health-conscious users.

In terms of earning rates, the Sapphire Reserve has undergone some shifts. Flights and hotels booked directly now earn 4 points per dollar spent, while flights booked through Chase Travel earn 8 points per dollar. However, car rentals and hotels booked through Chase Travel have seen a decrease, now earning 8 points per dollar (down from 10). Dining remains unchanged at 3 points per dollar, while many other purchases will continue to earn 1 point per dollar.

Another important change is the devaluation of Chase Travel redemptions. Points earned from now on will no longer be redeemable for a fixed value of 1.5 cents each through Chase Travel. Instead, they will qualify for Points Boost, which can be worth up to 2 cents per point with select hotels and airlines.

In summary, the recent updates to the Chase Sapphire Reserve® card have transformed it into a hybrid travel and lifestyle card, blending various benefits that cater to cardholders’ diverse interests. With many perks running through 2027, there are ample opportunities to extract value from this premium card. Whether these enhancements justify the increased annual fee of $795 will ultimately depend on individual spending habits and how well cardholders can leverage these new benefits.

To ensure you don’t miss out, be sure to activate the new perks in your online Chase account or mobile app and start planning your next luxury getaway or entertainment outing today.
